Bounty Program

Do you have a family member, college buddy, or executive friend who is thinking of opening a new location and are looking  for a great place to locate. Commercial property owners in Carlisle are offering five thousand dollars as a reward to any person who refers a new business to Carlisle that ultimately builds on participating land. The participating land owners have commercial properties available in two new business parks located at the Highway 5/65 Bypass on the west side of Carlisle.

Submit the lead, the business name and contact information, to the City of Carlisle for your chance to be awarded $5,000. City Administrator Andrew Lent will follow up with the prospect. Bounty money will be paid by the person or group who owns the land that is selected by the new business. For questions or to submit a business lead please contact Carlisle City Administrator, Andy Lent at 515-989-3224, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. It Is an Exciting Time in the Carlisle Area

Carlisle is attractive to many since it is located on 4-lane divided highways in Warren and Polk Counties with direct access to air and rail service. Residents can expect shorter trips than from almost any other suburb in the metro to the Des Moines International Airport, Jordan Creek Mall, Interstates 35 and 80, and most other points of interest in the metro. You can see downtown Des Moines from Carlisle. We’re that close to everything!

Carlisle is expected to be the next area of rapid growth in the Des Moines area. This chart provides a look at what is expected to be amazing growth in the area by 2019.

Residents and families choose to live in and move to Carlisle because of the great quality of life for all ages, the numerous opportunities to get involved and make a difference, and the fun and friendships they find here.

Carlisle has many options for residents to live and businesses to locate or expand. Randleman Ridge and Danamere Farms offer single-family options, and Danamere has multi-family options, too.  The Scotch Ridge Business Park and Gateway Business Park offer medium-size and larger development sites for businesses to choose from, and there are options downtown and around the community for retail and commercial as well.

The City of Carlisle, Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce, and Warren County Economic Development are working together to assure that, even with the exciting, expected growth, Carlisle will retain its natural setting and small town charm.
